KiloMate

Fast-food calories in Australia

Calories, kilojoules and macros for 686 items across 10 Australian chains, and the leaner way to order them. Every figure comes from the chain's own published Australian nutrition information.

How to read these numbers

Australian menus and food labels show energy in kilojoules (kJ). Most calorie apps use calories. KiloMate shows both: 1 calorie is 4.184 kJ, so a 500-calorie burger is about 2,090 kJ. The average Australian adult eats about 8,700 kJ a day, the figure used on food labels.

Where a chain publishes figures for each part of an item, such as the bun, cheese or sauce, KiloMate shows what you save by leaving it out. Where a chain only publishes the total, we say so rather than guess.
